| Is Baaaaack... | Dumb question, probably: can't current versions of Photoshop take an image like that and create a useable HDRI file? Or has too much of the dynamic range already been removed? |

| SFM Oracle | Depends on the information in the tiff. IE colour depth etc. To note most of these are false colour or extremly long exposures. I didnt read up on how the image was attained IE radiographic etc. A bit more visualy intresting HubbleSite - NewsCenter - The Carina Nebula: Star Birth in the Extreme (04/24/2007) - Release Images granted I would hate to see this as a 3d ship backdrop. |
