better to end now with a "real ending" to go on and been cancelled and no ending realy.

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

Awesome, the thing only needed to go for 4 seasons anyway, espescially the way the story is set up, there's no reason for a story like like this to gon on more than that.

Simon Abrams: Ok...These things are seriously impairing my ability to think rationally.
Dana Crutchfield: What?

i like the saying "Its better to burn out than to fade away", its a shame but we knew it was coming. Now we all brace to see what SciFi will put in its place...maybe more "Wrestling"? or maybe re-runs of SG1 (more than likely).

Maybe once it's finished someone in the UK will decide to air some new BSG...

This time you see- like holy water, it only burns you faster than you'll ever dry.

I'm satisfied with this outcome. I mean RDM has said that the story is in it's last act (beginning, middle, end etc) and I think it's better this way, rather than waiting anxiously next year for a 5th season that may or may not come, and ending on a cliffhanger.
This way the story will be told to completion, and it will end like it should, instead of ending like B5 or Firfly, or countless other cancelled shows

I'm glad BSG won't be added to the 'cancelled shows' list

and also we won't be getting any filler episodes in S4! Every episode will contribute to the big picture, and hopefully be a season long arc
or at least the network won't be applying pressure for standalone episodes for the 'accessibility' factor . . .

Hum.,.i tough Babylon had a very nice complete story arc actually. i did'nt see it as a canceled show. there was'nt any loose end that i recall..and i just finished watching all 5 seasons..

Though it as necessary to the show. It did feel like Season 5 of Babylon 5 [Empire Building], was a bit of a tack on. At lest to the Shadow War SL. If not the cleansing of earth.
