MaxScript Blinker v0.5 on page two

I've been learning MaxScript for the last couple of days, and thnx to dub. at Maxforums - Dub's Maxscript Tutorial Index and tutorials there, i've made my first script called Randomizer!

As you can probably see from the title it randmises stuff. . It Scales, Rotates, and Moves the object according to it's local coordinate system.
All you have to do is enter values you want object to move/scale/rotate within and hit Randomize!

For example:
you've got 100 boxes that you got with array tool, but you dont want them to be all the same height, you need Randomizer , you select all of them enter values (for example you need their height not to be below 8 and not above 15) so you enter your min and max values in desired axis (in this case z axis) and hit Randomize!

Instalation:
Place script in max script folder, open max go > maxscript in menu > run script, select Randomizer, then it will run the script...Then go costumize > costumize UI >toolbars>category>mpTools...then just drag it onto desired toolbar.

Nice, I've just started learning Maxscript myself. My first script, though incomplete, is a little utillity based on Lattice that allows you to construct a 'scaffold' based on the wireframe of a template object from custom geometry.

Seems Maxscript could be very usefull for some modelling tasks, but will really shine in helping to rig models, especially ships. Like automatically animating a weapons turret to track a target, like a lookat but more complex, or automatic landing gear animations.

Nice idea Spry, perhaps we have more coders then we know

Cool idea for a script citizen!
And i agree, making pipelines, and automating repetitive tasks is what maxscript is all about!

Yes, I've tried it, and for me it works perfectly.
It's very useful for rocks and asteroids or even buildings...

nice one, definitely... I think we should get a SFM script-spot that we can upload scripts like maxscript, l-scripts, mel, etc... files and discuss them codes for improvements and additional features.

first one is before and the second one is after applying the randomizer!
And the third one is current interface!
