Star Odyssey

I finally got around to opening a Christmas gift, a DVD of the sci-fi classic Star Odyssey. It's got everything a movie must: Swedish alien robots, goofy costumes, sword fights with real laser swords (at least I think they were laser swords, it was kind of hard to tell), ray guns, atomic cannons, moon bases, underwater cities (not shown), stock footage of beach houses being destroyed (I think they were suposed to be military bases according to dialog), incredible visual and sound effects, Black Spiderman, hypnosis, Black Spiderman using hypnosis on women, a guy that looks like Sybok, a million Africans being enslaved by the Swedish alien robots, hyper-radar (I don't know what it is but it was in there), amazing space fighter sequences, jumping, and loads more. But most importantly of all, a suicidal space robot, saddened by his inability to have sex with his woman robot. It's better than Star Wars, the Bible, Captain Planet, and Half-Life rolled into one.

I also got a few bonus features with my DVD, my favorite of which depicts a young Felix the Cat as a National Socialist propagandist delivering an impassioned speech covering many topics before shooting an arrow into the sky. He ends up hitting one of the many bicyclists on Saturn's rings, gets beaten up then meets an early Chef later featured in the craptasitic show South Park, except he's the king of Mars in this stunning short.

I highly recommend everyone search high and low for this DVD and hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Com'on people, comment.

YES! GOD YES! That's it! That's the one!

Do you have a copy? Have you ever seen it? It's amazing what one can find in the discount bin at Walgreens.

I wonder if anyone would bother suing me if I put it up on the internet. I wouldn't bother if it were me.
