Is it possible that, perhaps, someone else might do the conversion of the last mesh? I mean, if this guys proves to be a flake, what's the alternative? I have Deep Exploration- perhaps I can convert it to MAX using that and see if someone out there can re-texture it properly? Or, hell, maybe I can try my hand at it...? I dunno. What I DO know is that there's a lot of people waiting out there and I'm sure their patience (and yours) is starting to wear a little thin. I could give two flips about the money- that was donated for YOU because it was necessary and you've done a lot for us here to deserve a good vacation. I'm just really damned eager to start playing with the Reliant, like, yesterday.

I'm curious to know... is it done yet? Has anyone inquired about it lately?

| Administrator | Al passed on the meshes to me a while ago. I tried, but it didn't go to well, and college hindered me towards the end of the year so I ended up stop looking into it. But I'll have some free weeks now, so I'll see what can be done. I can't promise anything though, cause I have some other projects that I have to attend to in the coming weeks. Still, this is an official "It's being looked at" message |

Not to fire any flames but if you really want to see these meshes shine and can afford it, try if you can to view them in their native habitat Lightwave. Who knows you might even enjoy the experience. Good luck on the conversion Viper!

I've tried Lightwave. I just can't get my brain around it. MAX is quite simply more compatible with the way I'm wired, I guess. Not to worry, though- I'm a patient man. And it helps that I understand the challenges of doing a GOOD conversion. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know, Viper! (that said, I highly doubt that I would be of any assistance, since you're the one who taught me how to do basic texturing and are leaps and bounds ahead of me in the modelling department... but the offer still does and always will stand)
