| Would you kindly? | As a graphic artist I find this an impressive technical achievement, but I wonder why reproduce the actor's likeness at all? You could either drop the actual performer in whole or in part into the scene, or provide a complete new likeness. This movie marches right up to the uncanny valley with the visages of well known celebrities. I think many people will watch the film and find themselves comparing their favorite actor/actress to the performance of their digital likeness rather than enjoying the story. |

| I think the movie is an experiment in digital acting as well as telling a story. I mean imagine a movie where it's Brad Pitt acting along side a perfectly recreated CG John Wayne? |

| It's the classic 'how to stay young in hollywood' story. |
