New Halo short from Neill Blomkamp - Scifi-Meshes.com

Just released about a week ago, this one is about a couple of Helljumpers on a mission to retreive some kind of top-secret package while under attacks by Covenant forces.

It looks pretty cool. Though I'm not sure about the filming style, it doesn't quite match the look of the games as a whole.

Anyway here's a few pics from the short and you can download the film from gamershell.

Okay, that's fricking awesome. The USMC needs gear like for sure. You know how many recruits they'd have if they made stylish, awesome looking gear?!

Ok, just saw it. OMFG I'm having a geekgasm. The Brutes were sweet. And seeing the shards from the need gun hit the background was a badass touch. Just everything; it was great. Can't wait for the next installment if there is one...

Who knows, it's very possible the BFG is just a prop and nonfunctional. Although they could have just done longshots and composited in muzzle fire. Although I think the real reason was for more dramatic flare with them both in the front.

Saw this a week or so ago....but not those pics

THIS was what the Halo movie would have looked like..... Why can't they do a Halo movie

Loved the first shot form the first short. Th shot of the refinery or whatever and the CGI ship flyingh behind it that had my jaw on the floor... from where it never returned

I am praying they do more shorts

Yep there's gonna be a Part Two. I guess they're kind of chcuking out the shorts like once in every month until the game releases. It'd be awesome if one of them features a space battle.
