Bionic Woman (Katee Sackhoff = hotness)

just wondering what people thought of the first episode.

TV with MeeVee: Review: "Bionic Woman" = Hot Chicks Fighting In The Rain

a few familiar Battlestar faces seen.

I enjoyed it, but thought that the dialogue was clunky and cheesy ("how am I doing now?" "Better." Puh-leeze!) and Sackhoff's acting was horrible. I went in expecting to like her best of the bunch, on the strength of her Battlestar work, but I thought she was awful.

I'll give it a few more episodes, but if it doesn't get better, it'll be tough to make the time to watch it.

I enjoyed it.
I liked seeing a ton of familiar faces, but I think that took away from the story, because I was focusing on 'hey look it's Chief, Jammer, Badger/Romo, Starbuck etc' instead of what was happening . . . like I totally have no idea who Mark Sheppard's character is, or what Aaron Douglas's character had to do with the story . . .

and I guess the local storm warning interruptions didn't help

I can't decide if the pilot needed to be longer or shorter. I just know it didn't feel complete.

They spent time establishing the premise of the show but very little defining Jamie as a character. One thing that worked in the Galactica mini is they spent 40 or 50 minutes establishing the world before the attack. You had a sense of what these people lost when the cyclons arrived. With Jamie there's very little feeling of how her personal life is altered.

All of the characters are broadly played, which is typical of a pilot. None of these actors really know their parts yet. Katee seems to enjoy playing the villian, but they should have introduced her in the first regular episode. Her storyline is crammed in here.

I liked it.

Far better than Painkiller Jane wich I just stopped wathcing, and far better than Flash Grodon, ut that barely makesmy wathable lit.

But yeah for now it's an enjoyable SciFi, it can go both ways but from what I've seen and how it usually pans out, it looks to turn out pretty good.

After watching the first episode of Heroes season 2 this, by comparison, just seemed a bit of a let down.

I thought I was overall pretty decent. Granted the bar scene between Sara (Sackoff) and Jamie (Ryan) was a bit much. I mean Sackoff's Red Lipstick looked like someone had tried to slit her throat

WORST SHOW EVER SEEN, seriously, the pilote SUCKED, FX..worst ever done, but i know why.....serious, at least the original had a decent pilote, and at LEAST they changed her little sister now, the one in the pilote just looked and sounded ridiculous.

this will NOT go pass season 1, the whole thing about implenting her with super ninja ability?..i mean come on..LOL...

Come on, give it a quick thought. It wasn't good, really. But there have been so much worse shows on TV ...

Ditto on all of the above...

If anything it made me want to go back and watch the original Bionic Man two part episode when they introduce the Bionic Woman...
