The only ships that I liked were the Excelsior Class style ships. Don't have anything to say about the rest of them except they were not well designed Kitbashed starships.

HAHAHAHA HILARIOUS! WHAT PART OF KITBASH DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND. People do this for FUN -did you even read anything on the page? Riddle me this - how do you create a "WELL DESIGNED" kitbash starship using parts of existing models?

Well I have been thinking about this for awhile now- and Im in the same mindset of al3d. No more posting trek **** from me ever again.

wtf?!? he didn't like what you've linked. no need to flip out about that...

there were 2 or 3 nice ones, the rest is the standard kitbash scrap...

you wanna know how to create a "WELL DESIGNED" kitbash? take a look at the nebula, miranda and constellation class! they were well designed kitbashes!

i guess the problem with typical kitbashes is that these geeks just look around for what would be kewl on a ship and then try to put it together somehow, instead of making a basic design and then look around for fitting parts...

Took the words right out of my mouth psycho.

And by the look of it, all of those models are physical models, so its not the kind of kitbashing of other people's 3D meshes that we all get so upset about, this is people spending a lot of time with their hands, glue and paint.

And appart from some of their predilictions for jamming three nacelles on everything, some of them are pretty good.

Interesting stuff. Really well modeled and I like the paint jobs better than those you see on Feyman done model. I'm not a fan of three nacelle ships but there are not very nice ideas there.

That which does not kill me only postpones the inevitable!
