...because there aren't enough games running around on this forum.

Here's how it works:

You wish for something like: "I wish for a new car."

and somebody else grants your wish, but corrupts it a bit, like so:

"Granted, but the car has no engine."

Alright, let's see how long it takes for this to fall flat on it's face...

I wish for an internet connection in my apartment.

Granted, except the winter is so mild that it's warped back to summer, accelerating global warming and generally pissing everybody off.

Granted, but America slips into recession, the dollar plummets in value and overnight your billion can buy you nothing but a donut without frosting.

I wish that people were friendlier.
