last episode was okay, not as good as the huge battle 2 weeks ago, but at least way better than last weeks

on a side note, no code geass this week which probably made this episode look better than it actually was

i apreciate this serie.
im not fond of the new valkirie design and the green displays
but characters are interesting.

but, it will be hard to make better macross than the macross zero miniserie, and i dont think they will try to make it better

didn't really like the last episode, very little happened and it was like 20% new footage. Eps 13 and 14 were great though. Lots of action and story progress, finally we've see nuns fighting on par with sms not just being cannon fodder. The VF-27 is total ownage, I still don't understand what happened when he was about to get shot down over the planet, and at the last second it....teleported?

The Galaxy Fleet showed it's 'true colors' somewhere around the time the 'jesus' pilot popped into the show.

Sheryl is a limited lifetime designer human, yesh she supposed dies off in a few eps, substituting for the supposedly lost Human Experiement Ranka. Grace is Sharon Apple v2 without the singing bs, but that was exchanged for Zentraedi genocide.

The whole 'story' (what there is of it) is basically a copy of what the Protoculture did.

Personally I'm just waiting for the episode where they unveil the SUPER-HUGE LAST BOSS, and we get the My-Hime copycat ending where their are no 'winners' or 'losers'.

OK, #17 really makes you wonder what the f**k they´ve been smoking.
They basically introduced what could be the worst opening sequence of the Macross franchise (YouTube - Macross Frontier Opening Theme #2 ???? Seikan Hikou by Megumi Nakajima) and added an ending sequence which can compete with the previous opening (YouTube - Macross Frontier New Ending - Northern Cross - (???????)).
