Just got back from Cloverfield/ST:XI trailer

and both are frigging great!

The Star Trek Trailer is very very much a teaser. I don't want to spoil it, but it left me sitting there very very excited! You see a few "interesting" shots of the Enterprise, including a great finishing shot that just says (in my Peter Griffin when he finds out Meg is a lesbian) "AWESOME!!!!!!!"

Cloverfield was great too! Ok maybe not the all time best film, but it was different and unique and definitely worth seeing.
I am very glad that it didn't use the clichés that are seen in other films of the same genre

all in all

8/10

no, there were a bunch of kids that were laughing in the very final shot of cloverfield which REALLY spoiled the mood, but what can you expect when its a rainy day in the middle of the summer holidays
