OFFICIAL Ambassadore class ORIGINAL concept Official from the studio of Andrew Probert YOU'VE BEEN ASKING FOR IT We're in the initial phases of developing the Ambassador Class Starship, to be offered initially in 1:1400 scale. With only two views of this ship ever drawn, I'm putting it together as originally intended from mostly undocumented ideas I had at the time. These preview shots will be updated every few days (time allowing), and contain elements which will probably evolve as the project continues. We're hoping this will be an interesting addition to everyone's Starfleet collection, filling that gap in Starship design lineage. Amby-FlyBy Concept_Kits ![]() more info: Probert Designs

Meh. The model plays too much into blasé stock Trek design. It fits WAY TOO NEATLY into the middling look of Excelsior & Galaxy classes and does nothing innovative or fun. Those nacelle pylons as they look in his concept painting could have been a lot more interesting in the model and leaned toward a sort of Phase II delta body type secondary hull look. *yawn* The butt-ugly rush job on-screen Ambassador model has a more interesting things going on than this model.I'm more than a little disappointed, as I really love Probert's concept painting. I guess it's safe to continue fleshing out my take on it.

I'm sure you'll get over it....... oO He's leaning way to much on existent design. But hey, Probert can do whatever he wants with the model for his design. EDIT (Hey Moderator): And shouldn't this be down in "General Discussions" as the actual artist isn't the one who posted it?
