3DS Max is a 3D package, not an edit suite.

^Lots! Softimage/ Softimage XSi, Maya, LW, Max, Zbrush....

Mostly XSI/Softimage and Maya, along with certain ILM proprietary tools.

Episode 1 used mostly miniatures. The only real heavy use of CGI there was for creatures and characters, and the pod race.

ILM as their own software now. for both editing, comp and 3D. when you see them using say Maya, it's been SO TAMPRED with, a normal maya user would'nt know what to do..

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.
