^ I agree with that.

Also we know that Nimoy, is in this. The Roumor I here most often is that he is tell someone, either on Romulas or at Starfleet Acdamay a story. Which make this film one big flashback. so as it from his point of view it make sence that he say those words, and not Kirk.

The best rendition was definitely Spock/Nimoy at the end of Wrath of Khan. Much more emotion and meaning and the first time they used "ongoing mission" instead of "5-year mission" if I remember right

First image looks nice but not very Trek Second image somehow makes it look more like a parody, or fan film... oh well

I have to disagree with you on the first one. It looks like Trek to me, but the others seem more like parodies than Trek (on that we can agree). And yes, the bridge does have a sort of "women's department" cosmetics display theme to it...and I'm not sure how I feel about it...
