Ahh, You-tube is a wonderful thing, is it not? I've seen the trailer now, It actually looks to me like we are inside Roslin's head as she re-examines an event on New-Caprica, it has that drearly leached colour look that N.C. had. D'Anna's presence is easily explained, other characters are frequently appearing inside other people's heads lately.

I highly doubt it's earth (what would be the point of the rest of the season), but it will probably show the planet at the last second of the episode to have a cliff hanger. Also I think having the final cylon as someone new would be too punishing for everyone waiting to see which of the main cast is the final cylon.

I think Earth, if they even make it, will be an epilogue at the end of the season, not mid-way. As to a new person being the final cylon, we have pretty much been promised that "the final five are in the fleet" so the final one should be there with the colonists, or what was the point?

yeah, but that is what everybody expects, and this show is anything but. at first i expected that mid season cliffhanger would be colonials finding out identities of final five, but now i´m not so sure. from last episode one question remains: why would baltar speak to centurion? there is no logic, they call them toasters for reason. i assume he probably doesnt know that they have free will now, since this was discussed only between the cylons. even when he does know, why? does he wants to have cult of folowers at every fraction? next time we could see him taking bath with the hybrid (or two)

Well the old toasters were self aware, thats why they rebelled in the first place... The name "Toaster" is just because of their shiny chrome finish, nothing to do with their intelligence so why not try and have a conversation with one, even if they can't talk back. Maybe he's initiating the centurions rebelling against the rebel cylons, putting ideas in their heads, or maybe baltar was just bored? ... It was an entertaining scene whatever though.

A Michael is a nuclear pulse drive warship ... i.e. an Orion. It's big (carries two space shuttles as "fighters" as well as eight additional smaller parasites called stovepipes), uses megaton-range nukes as its drive and fires x-ray lasers as a side-effect of its engine. ![]() "God was knocking, and he wanted in bad. No, I don't think they reach Earth in the next episode. They obviously reach some planet, but I think its another signpost/waypoint on the journey. I don't know why I think that--other than it's unlikely that the last ten episodes will be "Okay, we made it ... now what?" | |

I, too, really liked the scene with Baltar and the toaster... I was thinking that he would either crush baltar or baltar would put enough thoughts in his head that it would just cause problems (rebelling) later on. Either way, you get the feeling that balter was only doing it for the purpose of entertaining himself. I'm not sure if that planet is Earth or not... there are so many things it could be... a dream, another planet, flash back or forward. Either way I'm excited to find out!
