| Project Lead on SFM Film | I enjoyed this EP. It really starting to get back to the greatness of Season 1 & 2. looks like we are going to get some more action. I like the Idea of Tom Zurick being the final cylon. Could the final five have a hand in the creation of the colonisy cylon, not the orgainc but the orignal mechines? How long ago where they at Earth? As I have not seen the Promo for the next ep, it leave one question. Where did the baseStar jump to and is Starbuck abourd? |

| Aye, and it would be a reasonable guess that the jump co-ords for the impending mission, were in the ftl when the hybrid 'came online'. |

| On another note, I really hope the cliffhanger for this 'mini-season' leaves the fleet and / or the cylons in earth orbit and there's something interesting that will happen with earth. However, i think it'll be strung out until the very end, cos i can't see where the story would go after they find it, unless they meet some kind of opposition from earth. I kinda think that it'll end up on the very last episode with just a few colonials and a handful of cylons (i reckon we'll lose some of the 5 by the end) starting over on an abandoned earth... perhaps the 5 were the last survivors of whatever became of the 13th tribe. |

| I was thinking about the deal with the Final Five being from Earth and how it could fit in with the story. What if the Thirteenth Tribe was actually a race of sentient machines that the Twelve Tribes of Kobol created. We know that the Thirteenth Tribe left Kobol approximately 2,000 years before the other Twelve left for the colonies. What if it was like the Cylon War that took place about 40 or so years before the start of the series, the people of Kobol invent their own version of the Cylons which eventually rebel and leave for a planet of their own, Earth. Later on, these sentient machines seek revenge against Kobol. They took human form like the Cylons and caused the cataclysm that forced the Twelve Tribes to leave for the colonies. Sometime between the exodus from Kobol and the creation of the Cylons the Final Five could have infiltrated the colonies as sleeper agents of the machines. Later the Twelve Colonies create the Cylons to do their dirty work and fight their wars, etc. The Final Five, still acting as sleeper agents among the humans, could have caused the Cylons to rebel against humanity and influenced their later development into human form. Then 40 years after the Cylon War the Cylons return and wipe out the colonies, the remnants of the Twelve Tribes are forced to flee again. This time they search for Earth. Starting to see the pattern - "all of this has happened before, and it will happen again"? Just my two cents, but it seems to fit. |
