maybe I have a bad memory, but I don't remember the last time SFM fell over itself praising a new camp buck rogers movie

I pity the fool!

well It will probably 'Re-Imagined' like all the stuff they are ripping off today.

Alright, while this doesn't sound like the greatest news in the world, don't think of it as the worst. They didn't say that the movie was going to be campy, just the effects being "low budget, which will retain the campiness of the original series", so they're not out to make even campier than it was. Also, has anyone seen Galaxy Quest. It had a budget of $45mil and the effects where freakin' sweet. Not Star Wars quality, but nice none-the-less.

Okay, so Frank Miller is NOT directing this film, though it's not clear if he was and is not, or never was.

CL, I hope these pics are good for you...Got 'em off the web...I always thought it looked cool and I had at one time a chance to get one of the "hero" models from Universal but didn't jump on the chance quick enough.

Here some other picture .. Oh Wilma

here is the other Blaster .. This was my fav..

Gil Gerard fought with the writers a lot about the direction of the show .. They wanted the 25th century James Bond theme and the smart mouth and he wanted to focus on Buck adjustment in to this new world .. with deeper stories and what not ..

Still I loved the first season the second is forgettable apart from Hawk and his fighter
oh and Wilma in a short skirt..
