| SFM Obsessed | Servalan from Blake's 7 was one of my favourites, but there are so many great baddies to chose from that I don't think I could have a favourite. Having said that, from the popular franchises some of the better villains were as follows Star Wars: Grand Moff Tarkin - coldly orders the destruction of Alderaan without any remorse. Vader, schmader, the Moff was the daddy holding the reigns George Lucas himself cannot be ignored here too for creating Jar Jar... ![]() Star Trek: Between Khan and the Borg, but Khan wins in my books Doctor Who: The (original) Cybermen. Forget the Daleks. The Cybermen were indestructable, unstoppable soulless killers and a darned sight more scary Indiana Jones: the giggling, freakish Toht from Raiders. Abolute genius there |

I'll tell you this, Darth Vader scared the chickens out of me when I was a kid, while Skeletor was always a cheese-bag villain in a poorly-animated cartoon based on a cheap toy-line. Not that I have an opinion on this or anything.

Cut out his heart with a spoon - 'cause it's dull you twit, it'll 'urt more! Yeah, *anything* played by alan Rickman! I always regarded Sevalan, apart from being mostly camp, as being mostly incompetent - can't believe the seven got away that often I agree about Tarkin, in the first SW (a new hope) vader has subservient to Tarkin, tarkin was the real power, And he welded it coldly I thought the Borg were high on the list originally, but they have been "humanised" too much recently, they are no longer the cold single-minded creatures they originally were, first contact and Voyager made they a lottle too easy to defeat - originally defeating a single cube took just about everything you had, that was scary!

| master of the Universe | Khan ![]() Kirk: Khan, you bloodsucker. You're gonna have to do your own dirty work now, do you hear me? Do you? Khan: Kirk. You're still alive, old friend. Kirk: Still, "old friend." You've managed to kill everyone else but like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target. Khan: Perhaps I no longer need to try, Admiral. [beams the Genesis device away] Kirk: Khan... Khan, you've got Genesis, but you don't have me. You were going to kill me, Khan. You're gonna have to come down here. You're gonna have to come down here. Khan: I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her: marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet, buried alive. Buried alive. Kirk: KHAAANNNN. [echo] Kirk: KHAAANNNN. |
