i was using my awsome mental superpowers, analysing global mankind social history, philosophing with myself (very interesting guy to philosophe with ), and i came out with this conclusion :

the most obvious marker of the fall of a society is the perversion of sexuality.
from the moment it is normal for people to have sex with more than one person in his/her life, the society is doomed and will fall shortly (historicaly shortly, say, 100-150years).

People have always been having promiscuous sex with multiple partners, sometimes with more than one at the same time and even of the same sex. Sex will not destroy society. You have been watching too many US TV series and movies that tell you sex is bad and guns are good. Wake up to life. You only get one chance at it, so stop fretting over silly things and if you are that bored with work, go find something else to do that is more worthwhile.

i meant when the society tells its normal with that, you wont wait long before it start to fall apart. in europe, this has became normal since the 20ies-30ies. for how long will it last ? those people said 2012 uh...

the perfect example of what i meant is rome.

Definitely not. Societies collapse because of things like corruption, social injustice, unequal distribution of wealth; basically where the majority are pressed to the point where they will not stand for it any more, the military are coerced into taking control or the system is so rife with incompetence and corruption that stronger nations start to emerge and take chunks out of the other society.
