| SFM Guru | [Spoilers] Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Just got back from the midnight showing and I have to say the movie was a blast! The movie was lots of fun, plenty of action and humor. The plot seemed a little loose at a couple of points, but other than that. Great fun. Harrison Ford had no trouble bringing the character back as a more seasoned version. I plan to see the movie again this weekend ![]() |

Music, sounds, editing, cinematography, it was like it came out only two or three years after Last Crusade (yeah, Ford ist much older, and the effects are more advanced obviously, I know). |

If you think bout it, it sets it up the hat blows over to him, picks it up, is about to put on the Fedora, and then SNATCH uh uhh there is only one Indiana jones. Well for me that's what the scene felt like. I too went to see the midnight showing, and i thought it was a blast, a bit weird it being a 12 rated movie and it feels like there is less violence in this one than the other three movies. |

I didnt mind the blue screen, I really wouldnt want Harrison Ford having to stand that close to a nuclear detonation if they had to go the method actor route. Incidently, that scene, and Indy stood in front of the UFO are to me classic iconic moments for teh character. Sure you have to take a few things with a pinch of salt, like the fridge, it might have saved him from teh radiation, but being thrown a mile or two accross the desert should still have killed him, as should any one of those three waterfalls, but its Indy, hes meant to do sh1t like that. And "tell me its a rope" was a classic. |
