Well you can easily see the strings, but either way it's interesting blend of ideas.

The last time is heard of Brains dancing was this weekend when that biker hit that truck head-on, but that was more skipping than dancing....

Sometimes the worst opponent is the one closest, yet ignorant of the truth.

It's by The Mill who also do Dr. Who effects. I invited them to my degree show this week since I have loads of CG work (that model of London) being displayed.

It would be cool if you ended up working for the Mill.

Did you ever show that london model here?

I'd love to work for them, but I'm sure you need way more experience than I'll ever have. I haven't had a chance to post my London model yet, this is my first visit to the board for weeks.

If you have 1,000,000 quid to stretch over an hour, or the same amount to stretch over a minute, the minute is going to look better.

I was surprised at how bad the adipose (grey jelly baby things) were, but they made up for it with the effects in the Pompeii episode. Both the volcano and the aliens were really nicely done.

yes I realise this.... because.... you know.... I have a brain

but that still doesn't change the fact that dr who effects really look like shizer sometimes, and then now and again there'll be something impressive

I pity the fool!

I think that's pretty much true of Dr. Who in general however - even the old series had a reputation of shaky sets, but that was just an overview. There were some episodes in a series with real issues, that just stood out as masterpieces.

I think that the keyword here is 'BBC'.

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.

yeah, the bbc seem to get it right when it comes to historical documentaries though

the UK has the talent for TV shows with good effects, you just don't seem to see it used that much

I pity the fool!
