That has to be CGI, no way you can get a puppet to do that, brilliant idea though, use CGI to make something thats supposed to look fake, but it looks realer than most things they try to make look real. Ironic when the original tried so hard to hide the strings, this new version has the strings added on purpose. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Not sure its string puppetry, but also not sure its CGI either. Maybe some stop motion in there. There are however, some extremely gifted string-puppeters - that commercial is not beyond them, by any stretch of the imagination. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | I enjoy the advert a lot, though as the are two Thunderbirds ads on at the moment, for different products. It can be confusing what they are advertising. One is Spectsaver, (Brian would be better for this one.) and the other is for bottled water. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Actually, after some research...its a mixture of both CGI and puppettering, using samples taken from dancers. The making-of video is not long enough to see how much of each is in there, but some that's you'd expect to be of one type is the other and vice-versa. The making of video does not actually say much all all really, and nothing that we've all seen before, but you can get it here. Expect a long wait however - took ages for it to download for me, and kept giving the impression that the page was failing. |
