The opening credits is a sequence that is almost identical to the one from the show, albeit without the half hulk, half banner split screen. Forget what criticism of the CGI you have from seeing the trailer, or tv spots, on the big screen he looks amazing. There are some iconic comic moments, with "Hulk smash" and the hand clap that produces a pressure wave. I dont know if there is anything after the credits, but Tony Stark shows up just before them, so at least you don't have to sit through them for his cameo. |

| SFM Obsessed | Well it looks like Marvel is attempting to build their "universe" in the movies with little cameo's. Quite the smart move for bringing out movies like The Avengers, because they'll have plenty of audience prep already done when it comes out. |

Its so much better than the first movie, and the origin story is told brilliant in just a quick 2 minute sequence over the opening credits. This time around, you really get that feeling that Banner is a desperate man on the run, and that General Ross is one evil s.o.b. Norton is brilliant as Banner, i don't think i can see anyone bringing that character to life as he does, he really does come across as someone with an amazing haunting burden on his shoulders. Liv Tyler...meh eye candy for the screen lol The CGI is this movie looks alot better than the previous one, it still looks like CGI but hey this is a comic book movie. Yeah this movie has got to be a big lead up to Something Avengers wise, The film kinda follows in a way the story line for The Ultimate s. In how they were trying to recreate the Super Soldier Suruim and created the Hulk by accident, You see Tony Stark, The name Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D pop up a few times. And yes even Bill Bixby gets a little screen time in the movie, and we get to hear that haunting 'lonely man' piano riff. I think after Iron Man and now Hulk, Marvel Studios are on a roll with keeping the movies close to the comic book source as possible but trying to ground it in reality as well. I can't wait to see a sequel to this |

Downloads: 2 Uploads: 0 | got to see the film thursday, and i have to say...brilliant. I loved every bit of it, tho i did have to sit through it with someone who was constantly saying "yes, make the bad guy english, ****ing americans"...in the end i just shut him out and waited for the violence ![]() It was nice to hear that music again, not to mention the nod to Bill, who i thought should have also got a nod in Ang Lee's version, after all...we had everyone else, why not him? Lou definatly showed he is still "the man" in his little bits, not to mention the lovely idea to let him VOICE the Hulk for what little snippits of dialog the big guy actually produces ...I almost cheered when the immortal words "Hulk...SMASH!" were roared through the surround sound speakers at me...One thing above all else that made this Hulk stand out...they kept some realism with him, if you notice, in Ang's version the Hulk grew in size as he got angrier, where as in this one he doesnt grow taller, just bigger in muscle mass, but not to stupidly overblown proportions. From my best estimation the Hulk remained between 9 and 11 feet tall throughout the movie, giving some error in on the scale side in some shots. Of course i could be completely wrong and he could have been all over the place size wise ![]() Anyways, enough from me...and now for the weather btw, Dr-Timelord, i've been wondering...what is your avatar from?:P |

Bring it on I say.....Thor is next movie I believe before Ironman2 |

My avatar is from the crappy film version of Fist of The North Star, but i liked the image. Blonsky gave a perfection demonstration that the Super Solider Serum does work, maybe Cpt America was only given a small dose to make him more agile and faster like Blonsky was, but did not recieve anymore injections due to going 'missing' ? I think it was good to show how Blonsky turned into the abomination due to being bombarded with gamma rays mixed with the Super Solider Serum which created a monster, and in turn he helped create ' The Leader' lol I think the HULK himself was handeled quite well, it was interesting to see the HULK quite calm and sitting next to betty in the cave watching the rain. This kinda throws out the idea that when the HULK is calm he reverts back to Banner, which i think works well. And yeah Lou is definatley THE MAN, i mean jezz how old is he? and he looks in terriffic shape | |
