Its hardly a reset, just because the earth is back where it started, new york and other places where still attacked, people where exterminated, everyone on earth, appart from Donna remembers the Dalek attacks, pressumably the Valient was destroyed.

Rose finally got to be with a Doctor who could love her, Torchwood has aquired two new staff members, Donna lost everything she enjoyed in life, and cant even remember that she lost it, and the Doctor is traveling alone again, having possibly used up one of his remaining regenerations.

I liked the Wilf salute at the end, didnt he do the same thing at the end of the Peter Cushing movie?

Brilliant ending not just to that two parter, but this whole season, and all four seasons really.

Okay, not to be overly bitchy here, but is there anyone out there that had something good to say?!

As for thje paradox that some one said back there what if the Universe is stronger then we think and it is able to shrug these small issues off?!

The timelords coming back?! Maybe but they wouldn't be time lords would they... a Time lord has seen into the Time vortex and this is what makes them a time lord, they can see all times lines and 'know' if something is meant to be. A half time lord can't, and if you cared so much for someone (as teh Doc did for Donna) would you let them continue to have those memories if there was a way you could take them away if there was even the slightest % that she would Die?!

Not to mention that it was teh Doctor in teh Time war that destroyed not only his onw ppl but the Darleks and a number of other species (do you know think that after Donna who has his memories had played with them a little that the other Doctor the half human one wouldn't have access to their programing and would be able to blow them all up again?).

I think there is a lot of unneeded hate towards the Doctors companions and i think if you get over that you will enjoy the show much more!

And the main reasion why we are not getting the 5th untill 2010 is coz of one of the writers, they are waiting until he has gone for what ever reasion!

Slightly suprised no one has bitched about the Second Doctor and Donna's Doctor-ness yet and how that came about!

I'm under the impression that people set the bar too high after "The Stolen Earth".

At any rate, I really liked the little speech Davros gave when he talked about the fact that the Doctor got other people to kill and die for him.

Yeah i did, it showed yet another side of the Doctor... Oh and love the Click his fingers to open and close the TARDIS! How cool is that, this is showing that a Time Lord is more then we ever thought, more then they thought. Just like when he became a 'god' to fight the Master!

Nice to see someone who enjoys the show for what it is rather then moaning coz it isn't what they wanted it to be!

"They had the chance here to bring back the Time Lords and they throw that way. It would not be Time Lords form Galafra, but a new group of Time Lords half human."

That's what is bugging me. I would have sworn at some point along the road, more than once. they had already intimated the Doctor was part human ANYWAY. In several previous Doctor's incarnations it has been mentioned if I am not mistaken.

Er, no. David Tennant has signed up to do a series of theatre appearances and so is only available periodically. Still, I guess if you like to just randomly make things up then you just go ahead...

There was one other problem which is probably nit picking, but Donna had to be returned to a blank human state because a human-timelord was never supposed to exist (I forget the exact line), but the timelord-human Doctor is allowed to keep going and his brain can handle holding Donna's memories and personality? Seems a bit contradictory, though I've worded it in a deliberately way to make it appear less tenuous.

Yeah yeah, could it be that he was booked for this AFTER they decided that they would put a hold on Doctor Who until 2010?!

And while i do not remember the line either it is stated that the Doctor (Human/Timelord) was created from teh hand with a jumpstart from donna so he is more timelord then human. where as Donna is a Human that has been give the memories of the Doctor... it is the same process but reversed.

The timelord is more evolved then a human so he can handle the memoires of a human but a human can not handle the memories of a Timelord (a few hundred years worth of memoires i might add.

Not exactly, there was a line in the american TV movie where the Doctor mentions hes half human, for the rest of the series hes completly alien. While everyone accepts the 8th doctor, general consensus is that that line never happened, not sure why they ever wrote that in in the first place.
