ehh, although robotech is cool as anime, I just think there are other more interesting giant robot franchises that could have been better as a movie. Of course if they ever do finish it I would watch it gladly.

from what I understand it's a live action adaptation. Toby McGuire is slated to play Rick Hunter.

He must really need the money.

Pretty old news really. They've been talking about this for close to a full year now. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of watching them re-imagine RT from the ground up too! Especially since HG has no rights to reproduce any of the original RT materials and said materials are split up between about 5 different company some who are still legally contested. They can't even use the symbol because Big West owns the rights to it. LOL!

What makes you think that they'll even be able to have the Roy Fokker character in the movie?

But personally I can't see Wilson as Roy.
