Computer Animation and Modeling

I am looking into going to school for Computer Animation, specifically for modelling. I would like to start a thread about different schools in the US. Kind of like a review board. I am having a hard time finding one that I like.
Thanx

Pretty much the only place I could find in the Portland Oregon area is the Art Institute of Portland which I'm going to check out this week. But they seem to have a pretty good comprehensive batchelors program teaching Maya and 3ds Max. And as with all schools they'll help with creating your portfolio and job placement after you graduate.

Other than that I couldn't really find anything in this area except some seminars which wont help unless you are pretty well versed in it to begin with.

Well since you want modeling you should go to a school that offers a normal art degree. As anybody who hires you will see that you have some classical training along with your portfolio, so a combination of regular art school and a specialist school like Dave or others would be smart.

Sometimes the worst opponent is the one closest, yet ignorant of the truth.
