I had a client ask me to email him an update so he could see how his project was going. Thing is, it was a printing project.

Seeing things in wireframe... lol I remember Tachy saying the same thing.

Thankfully I don't see things in wireframe, hidden line etc. , but I'll admit some of the "gaming talk" expression do get used in real life. (Especially when it's computer related)

Sometimes I see wireframes on people and objects and see their shader-config before my inner-eye.

Tachy and I had a very big chat about it back when he was still talking to me... I've still got the ICQ conversation somewhere which starts off with him saying something like "Do you get this good feeling when you are modeling?" and me replying with "No, modeling does not give me wood you perv!" Things may have gone wrong but we definitely had some laughs along the way

My random WIP thread which includes some hints and tips on modelling which _may_ be useful for the link above...!

I occasionally see wireframes overlaid on objects... but usually only when I'm actually thinking about 3D stuff. I certainly don't look at a very nice lassy and see the polyflow around her mesh

Once someone was talking to me about how he was making a big forest level for some game in development, and he was pulling some really long hours. When he got out and saw some trees, he was like "Eew. That's such awkward placement."

Then it hit him, he was criticizing reality.

I get that all the time. I'll be like "The lighting in here could be so much more realistic"

Sometimes that whole... watching the cgi really carefully, almost to the detriment of the rest of the film thing has some amusing results. Like with WallE I start out being all "Oooh, such nice work, looks at the depth of field." Then by then end Its just.... "Aaaww.... cute robots." That is to say, If a film has the power to shift my attention from the cg to the story, its probably not bad :P

I use alot of game lingo in real life. mostly as a joke but sometimes it sneaks up on me.

exp: Im haveing a bad day with the misses. ill tell my friends that I cant group up with them and quest, i have to go home and work on my Reputaion.

Sorry guys, I cant instance with you , I have wife agro.

My friends keep on buggen me to build my new computer and I tell them that Im still farming Mats to craft it.

Since I started to participate in the website and started to model, "im addicted now" no matter what I look at, i try and break it down and see how it could be modeled, and what kind of textures i could use to make that mesh.
