Signatures

Seeing as there are bound to be new people here, as well as older members that might have "forgotten" the SFM policies, I just thought I'd clarify a couple of things:

1. No images- and thus no image tags in signatures. This has been a staple rule of SFM- if you want to show stylised work as an identifier you may use either your avatar space, or your profile picture option. This is non-negotiable.

2. You may link to personal projects or websites, or websites that you own and operate, provided their content falls within the SFM Terms of Service (ToS).

3. SFM allows users the equivalent of three lines worth of space for their signature- whether you have three lines of text, or two lines with an empty one spacing them is up to you, provided they do not take up more than three lines in total. Please use common sense when applying styles to signatures- red text etc' is acceptable, 72pt red text is not.

4. Signature content (quotes etc') must comply with the SFM ToS.

Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in a member of the SFM Staff contacting you either via a thread, a Private Message, or an email, asking you to modify your signature. If you should fail to act upon this request within a reasonable amount of time, the Staff will take it upon themselves to either remove or replace your signature.
