I am not skilled enough in Photoshop yet to try this, and the look of the planet is kinds specific, and I need it at a very high quality/resolution. Below is more specific detail on what I need. I am writing an original universe story about the alien race we know of as the "Grays", or the Orvani. The story is called "Shades of Gray", and in one point in the story, we see a human elementary schoolteacher showing her class of children two globes... one of Earth, and one of Orvan, the Gray's home planet. I would like to use the image of Orvan as part of one of the story's cover pages. Below is what I have in mind for Orvan... Orvan is smaller than Earth, but not as small as Mars... maybe an in-between size between the two. From above, Orvan looks almost identical to Earth, in regards to native colors... meaning that is has large landmasses of desert tan, with some patches of green forest, and it has white clouds, and an ocean of blue. But unlike the Earth, Orvan has no moon. I would like Orvan to have more landmass cover than Earth does, and it should be for the most part, a massive supercontinent... mostly all desert and mountains, with some grasslands and forests edging the continent in places. I envision something along the lines of a vaguely liver-shaped supercontinent, almost breaking apart in some areas, forming large delta regions, where the water flows inland, in a short network of rivers. I was thinking of trying something different with the oceans, too... maybe having them to the north and south, rather than the east and west, like on Earth. And possibly the tint of the blue of the oceans is a tiny bit more "sea green" than a true blue. I was thinking this would make the ocean a tinge lighter, so that in the cover image, when we see Earth beside Orvan, it adds a bit of visual contrast. So, all I need is the image of Orvan itself, against a dense starry background, but the stars should be very fine and small, not at all "blotchy", or blurred. Something indicating maybe one of the galactic arms intersecting the world from behind, at an angle. And the planet should be mostly exposed to light, meaning it should not be mostly hidden within the shadows. But I need the image to be high-quality/resolution... as close to photo-quality as possible. I *may* be able to offer payment for this, but I must be honest and say I don't have a lot to offer money-wise right now... but if you are seriously willing to take this on, and are willing to work out a payment option, I am more than open to it. If anyone is interested, they can email me at: spyrou06@gmail.com. Thanks for looking. ![]() -BolianAdmiral |
