Has anyone Made A TOS Version Of Excelsior?

I know alot of people have made TOS versions of other ships... Akira, Defiant... Just wanted to know if anyone made a TOS Excelsior?

it's one of my favourite designs ... Plus i'd love to see original and Ent-B version in TOS era design.

Seeing how Kirk and Co. expressed wonderment at the size of the ship, it seems a bit that there would have been an older version of the design.. hence, there most likely was not

No, that was the original Excelsior. The TOS equivalent would be the Constitution class, like it's successor would be the Ambassador class, then the Galaxy class and finally the Sovereign class. It's design progression/evolution.

Seriously though, the Excelsior seen the ST:III is the original Excelsior. There is no TOS version because it isn't a TOS era ship. The Excelsior seen in ST:VI is the next step from Transwarp prototype to in-service starship.

Sure, someone could try to design a TOS era Excelsior but it wouldn't make much sense from a logical point of view (are my ears pointy?)

Who knows, might be interesting to see?

that's what i'm asking...
people have made tos versions of defiant and akira class... just out of pure interest, what would it look like? would it be as rugged looking as the trek 3 style? i'd just like to see it, I think it's one of trek's best designs... rugged looking, powerful looking, like it can take and deal apunch when it's ancester was the Connie...

just interested that's all.
