| High Res Mars needed for beauty shoth with Olympic Hey Guys, i'm looking for someone who has a good version of the planet Mars that I can use as a background or directly in 3D Max. I seem to remember that there was a guys here at SFM who made a high-res version of mars but I can't seem to find the person or thread. I need a very, very good version of Mars for a high-res beauty shot I'm making for the space ship the Olympic (see WIP thread in my signature). Also I may use it for furure beauty shots, also with the Heracles. Due credts will be provided for on every beauty shot of course. |

| Sure, it will always be welcome. I guess if I can't find a suitable, already made model, I'll have to dive into the planet making process. Any good maps or texture that you wouldn't mind sharing I'd be happy to receive.  |

| You could check with aszazeroth. I think Howard Day did one too. I don't have a link but I think there are some high res maps available from nasa |

| Thanks guys! I PM'd both aszazeroth and Howard Day and I've also downloaded those maps from the site to have a go with it myself. For those of you who newly open and read this thread, by no means feel restrained for giving other alternatives or offers to share  |

| Maybe you find Higher-Resolution ones here, have found here in the Earth´s Collection some very Hi-Res Earth Maps, but you must search the whole bunch manualy: Images of Mars and All Available Satellites |
