I created some mock blueprints of the vessel in MicroStation, however I know nothing of 3D modeling or graphics work. I don't really want to spend years trying to learn complicated 3D modeling software for a one-time project, so I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the court and hoping to team up with someone who just likes to create ship graphics for the fun of it. My RP Star Trek fleet would like to include my designed vessel into our fleet, but we need some pictures other than blueprints to carry forward. If you might be interested in taking a stab at this vessel, please let me know. I would appreciate any assistance I can get. I would be willing to trade services and provide a set of blueprints for the artist if they so desire a set for a ship of their design. You can contact me through this post, or email me at: random.redshirt@gmail.com For informational purposes, I am providing links to the blueprints so any interested artists can get an idea of the task that would be facing them. Thanks! Random Redshirt Lotus Fleet ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The drawings look good, and the Bentley stuff is fairly proprietary, so translations are problematic. The modeling module uses the same kernel that Solidworks and Unigraphics uses so I know it can do what you have here. You've already got the profile information. There's some guy that did a Fokker a few years back that's pretty incredible I'll drop ya a line in a couple days, if I get un-busy. I taught Microstation for 15 years. |
