Raider MkII

I'm looking to start a mesh project and I was wondering if there are any meshes of the Cylon Raider mk-ii that I can open in my Wings3D or Blender. If anyone knows of any that would be of great help.

Thank you.

Coxxon's cylon fleet includes both a standard and heavy raider... they're both in .3ds format so blender should (can't say for certain, I've never really opened blender save for the occasional conversion) be able to open it no problem.. you may have to resurface though as I'm not quite sure the surface data would survive the import process

oh my goodness I'm an idiot!

I found it but now... a new problem. Opening a 3DS file? I have blender and wings3d.... but neither will open the files.

Hi Shayna,
When using Blender you need to import a .3DS file, which can be found in the File menu.

Thank yoyu both for your suggestion. my last question is: Is there a way to lower the poly's on a mesh without remaking it entirely?

I'm sure blender has some kind of poly reduction tool but I just don't know it well enough to give a definitive answer..
