Galactica & Enterprise

Has anyone created a size comparasion picture(s) of the Galactica and any of the incarnations of the Enterprise (NCC-1701)?

I've done a rough "guesstimate", and just curious if I'm close.

It shouldn't be too hard to create a size comparison chart for those ships, since their sizes are fairly well known. Why don't you show us what you've made?

It's not really a chart I'm looking for, more of a few good renders.

Here's a few pics of the comparison I did. I haven't done any rendering yet. I primarily use Pro Engineer, and with the new Wildfire version, the photo render package has changed substantially, and I haven't have the time to really dig into it and do any photo renders (background, reflections......etc).

Something like these Renders is what I'm asking about. (Obviously minus a Galactica cutaway...lol)

You've scaled Galactica way too small. Depending on which source you use, Galactica is 1414 meters long or 1438 meters long. The Enterprise is only 289 meters long.

I got these dimensions from this fourm posting I found online. It sounded/looked fairly accurate.

Engines Max 359.38m Head Max 334.58m
Length: Front (Main body) 730.65m (Antenee) 766.04m Back 672.6m

And it is accurate, but you used it incorrectly. None of those numbers in the post are the total length. From this:
Length: Front (Main body) 730.65m (Antenee) 766.04m Back 672.6m
(using the center of the two arms as the middle)

you should use 766.04 + 672.6 = 1438.64m as the total length starting from the tip of the antennae.

How this? Just did a quick rescale.
