| New member - unsure of fit to forum I am new to SciFi Meshes and to the forum. I am not a designer or an artist - I joined because I have recently written a sci-fi novel. I am not sure whether I will really fit the profile for the forum, but here I am for the moment. |

| I dabble a bit in writing myself, mostly Firefly related stuff, for now... muahahahaha... cough cough. ![]() I joined because I was a sci-fi fan and to me this site, more than any other one I've been a part of, epitomizes the broadest scope of sci-fi avaliable. Where any 'verse is a good 'verse. So pull up a chair and set a spell. The 2d and 3d works are exceptional, and who knows you may find some inspiration here. |

| This time you see | everyone's welcome here at SFM, whether you're an artist or an observer- as long as you're active you're a part of the community. ![]() Feel free to browse- we don't expect writers to stay in the writing area and such like, and if you have any questions then feel free to post in the Support Area or contact one of the staff members: Administrators: These are the highest level of staff, with Aceman being the site owner. They are the people to go to if you have a complaint regarding a Staff member, or have more official queries regarding SFM (just say you're the scifi channel and you want SFM to visit you, for example. )Supermoderators: The go-anywhere team. A Supermoderator can edit, close, delete or otherwise modify content anywhere on SFM, including some aspects of user accounts. They should be able to answer most questions regarding daily life on SFM, or deal with Member incidents. Moderators: These guys are area-specific Staff who can handle thread editing, closure or movement. Note that a summary of the staff assigned to specific area can be found on the index page of each area. Moderators should be your first point of contact in the event of an issue. Note that Tovette has a pink usertag, because he's a bit strange. Sensei: The Sensei are SFM's Instructor Staff . They are considered to be among the best artists SFM has to offer, and are tasked primarily with guiding the artists here, and to organise and run SFM's regular design/modelling competitions. SFM Donors: Have no power regarding the site, but are included in this list for explanatory purposes. This tag denotes a member who has donated either money or time to help the site and its owner, and have been recognized as such by the Administrators. |

| This time you see | Spry: I'm always bored at work, and since they wont let me open one of the CS3 boxes behind me, I have to indulge my creative needs with multicoloured textual rablings.... |
