This site rocks!!!

Hello everyone. I am new to Scifi-Meshes.

I am a long time scifi fan and brand new to 3D modeling.

I just have to say this is one of the best sites I have ever come across.

Great to be a part of the community.

Hopefully, I will soon have some artwork that I think is good enough to post. Until then, I'll just have to enjoy what is here.

I'm a Blender person too. The are a few other Blenderheads on this site, and some Wings users too. Some of them are extremely good. There's even a few Blender tutorials here.

Post some work and enjoy your stay!

Thanks CL. There is a lot to learn, but plenty of resources to teach me.

Welcome to SFM! You'll find that there are many OpenSource people around... I used Wings3d for a long time myself... You'll be able to create more than enough using Blender and GIMP!

Don't worry about having a masterpiece before you post... having a WIP thread here is one great way to learn and get feedback as you model!

cheers!
Jeff
