| SFM Nugget  | Hi there, I'm new I was looking for science fiction writer's forums and I stumbled across a bunch, but only two were really cool, and this was one of them so I joined. I'm a writer, or at least I try to be. I write mostly cyberpunk, tech-noir, and straight sf. I also enjoy writing alternate history/reality sf, and some space opera. I was born and grew up in Flint Michigan, but now I'm living in Southern California on a mountain. I hope to move to Denver soon, but until then I try to enjoy spending time here. It's nice to meet everyone, and I hope to make some friends while posting here. |

| Welcome aboard Teresa! I think you'll find that there are all sorts of sci-fi people here. 3D modelers, animators, writers, and just fans, etc... So have fun going through all the forums and I'm glad I can be the first to welcome you to SFM. PS. There is a blog area here too and that might be a nice place to post some of your writings! --Jeff PPS. There are also a lot of us here that are really really close to 40 too!  |

Sometimes I have a senior moment. I will be 40 in 8 months and three week, but I do look good for my age, I swear it! See?   |

| Glad you found the blog area! ...and yes there are a lot of anime fans here too. I get all of my manga/anime recommendations from people here on the fourms. I'm in the middle of reading BLAME! |
