God, I hate introductions. It's almost as bad as when you have to stand up in front of class and give the whole "My name is..." speech!

Well, let's see. I'm a complete 3D hobbyist who's still climbing the learning curve of Cinema 4D and also -as my kids put it - a geek when it comes to Sci-Fi.

Until very recently I've been of the "Download someone else's models and make a pretty render" crowd, but have started to get to grips with actually making my own models, nothing I'd actually want to post, or admit to if I did though! I "graduated" to grown-up software after dabbling in Poser for the last couple of years.

I'm a brit, and strangely enough have not still manage to live there. My "background" is mostly in photography although I did serve an engineering apprenticeship in my late teens and got to play with the CAD stations which is where my interest in 3D comes from I guess.

My main Sci-Fi focuses are nBSG, Alistair Reynolds Revelation Space books and some ideas of my own, which are mostly still inside my head, or scratched out on the back of a envelope.
