| Greetings I am new here and after having spent a couple of days looking around thought to introduce myself. I am 26 and interested in learning how to model in 2 and 3d. Having taken graphic arts in high school and really enjoying it I found myself in need of a new pastime. Hence, I am starting to look into digital art. I am mostly here to learn about creating some images for a science fiction roleplaying product that I am writing. The types of images I need will range from equipment, weapons, power armor, and vehicles and ships. I am in the research phase on applications and tools right now. My setting material is written out and needs organized and edited. Time to get to work on some art. Any help or advice you guys can give me or other sites to steer me from would be appreciated. |

| Thanks for the welcome and the advice on some software. I am working on getting to days at my current job. Once I have done that I am going to be taking either night classes or online college for graphic arts. Anyone who has advice or a resource site for this would be appreciated. |
