Post Please read this before you post

Ok folks this forum is for members to post their tutorials for other members. It is not meant nor intended for or as a request forum, but for an active archive for tutorial makers and turorials only.

Forums where you can get your Requests or Questioned answered are:

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...tions-answers/
http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/m...-request-area/

_This threads also contain these highly informative information:_

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...es-online.html
http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...als-found.html

If those do not qualify then you should post your request in this forum where it can be redirected or answered by a wider audience:

I think the reason chrono is having fits is because every request, scream for help, or random Non tut post you make here bumps all the REAL tuts further down the forum.

Second I have seen a few req here that have tuts existing already.

Third try to keep the tut requests general, NO ONE is going to make a Galaxy class tut for you only, there might be one out there already, but dont expect to get unreasonable requests filled.

As well do some homework PLEASE google attempt to find the answer on your own before heading here asking for help. We as a community are willing to help but after the 40th how do you extrude hullplates req people tend to lose it.

I do think we need a better structured help forums IE set them as a dedicated unit or make subforums for each area IE 2d 3d tut req etc. And better clarification as well as some sort of moderation in this forum.

Either way hope this explains things a bit more for everyone.

This has now been done. Once again I'd point out that because the staff were not made aware of this issue, it has not been fixed until now. If you have an issue with something being posted in the wrong place, please feel free to report the post. There's no need for snippy comments made to new members who don't know any better...MKF is right in that the old system was hard to follow and not at all clear. Hopefully these problems will now be resolved.

BTW - Anyone who's wondering about all the "Moved:" threads that are still listed in this forum? Those will clear in 3 days. These have all been moved to the General Requests area to keep this area for what it was originally intended for - Tutorials.

Cheers guys,

C.

Thank you for your efforts.

Go ahead and delete this thread, because it's served it's purpose.

Makes sense to me. Perhaps you could make a request sub-forum?
