I knew that. (Honestly, who doesn't at this point?)

I'm just saying that since he can't afford Al's stuff, he's probably better off doing it on his own. I'm sure Nightwing's model, no matter how "generous" he may be with it, won't be below $500 of that.

Nightwing doesn't want to sell his. I'd love to do it on my own if I had the knowledge and skills but I just got Lightwave so it will be a long time before I can do that. Why are you against me buying one? While I can't afford al, I had intended to pay up to $300 for it.

i don't think, anyone here is against buying one if you can afford it (although learning how to build one yourself can be great fun!). But we definately are against wasting money for what you get of the guy you hired...

that was just an early concept. I haven't paid for anything yet and I won't pay for anything until I ma satisfied. I am having fun learning to do simple scenes right now. I'm also working on my first object.

Don't forget to make use of Lightwave's included content. There's a vast amount of included scenes and objects that will help you understand most if not all of what you'll need.

my first object was a starship, didnt finish it because i spent more time playing with how the tools work and interact, then i did actually building it. Pick something that's got a lot of good photos and reference images, and set to it, dont be afraid to experiemnt with the tools about, undoing is a ctrl+z away.

The Constitution class is a classic starter space ship, it's got a good shape and design as well as simple construction and layout which lets you experiment with most of the common tools.

Current WIPS: None 'cause I'm a lazy bastard.
