Needed a headshot for some auditions today, so I broke out the ol' cable release and had at it. This is the second shot

I'd like there to be a tad more of me, but all things considered, that was definitely the best of the lot. Besides, I'd never be able to replicate the pose to my liking anyway.

Things like an off-center subject can make or break a headshot, and thankfully the directors in both plays thought it made the shot to have me off-center. Got cast in one already

the general idea is that a piece of artwork will be more aesthetically pleasing if the subject is off-center or at the golden ratio . . . where a and b meet . . .

looks nice and very slightly misterious! This would also make a nice photo for a parfume add.

The play is called "3s" (said "Threes"), and it's a new work premiering in Boston, done by the Peripitus company. Very dark comedy...edgy and quite offensive to everyone (so it's okay
