Shot in a cell at Philly's Eastern Penitentiary, a "stabilized ruin" just a few blocks away from the Ben Franklin Parkway. This place is possibly the coolest "tourist attraction" I've seen

Yeah, Alcatraz is definitely a place I want to visit someday.

This gave me the shivers a bit as it was...you walk down the cell block and in this particular block the cells are mostly empty. So it goes empty cell, empty cell, empty cell, CREEPY CHAIR...

I'll agree that the pic is moody and a bit scary, but before we let our imaginations go *too* wild, I'd point out that its a barber's chair. Probably not used for anything more sinister than giving burr heads to inmates... Unless they were too cheap to afford an electric chair, in which case..

Another nice photo. Friend of mine waved a brand new Canon EOS 10MP DSLR under my nose last night. It's given me the fev'ah! GRRR.. Been looking into Canon & Nikon package deals today.
