Roger..christ, that ain't me, that's a 21 year old "model" hired to play a geologist, and he's as dumb as he looks realy.

Alec, jalouse of what?..

Greg, humidity did'nt affect mine, the other photography had a D70, and it started to get condensation and spots after 2 hrs only, the D200 is semi-sealed now i saw why it's a wee bit more expensive

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

Reminds me of the movie The Cave.. descent movie about underwater diving in flooded caves, and the monsta's that live there

Not calling Al a monsta or anything... honest

So the f2.8 allows for very low light photography, without flash? A certain "feature" that was promised with my fujifilm S9000 that turned out to be another "lie" of sorts.

yeah, but physics makes up for the lack of marketing surrounding this feature.

I wonder when manufacturers will latch on to this as a selling feature. So far they've managed to max out resolution, zoom, and now ISO. Image Stabilisation has been added, and bigger screens are the order of the day. They've all been used as sales tools by manufacturers eager to stand out from the masses. I can't speak for anyone else, but a 12 Megapixel compact with a 28-280mm IS f2.8 Constant and ISO 1600 would get my attention pretty quickly...

This time you see- like holy water, it only burns you faster than you'll ever dry.
