Downloads: 2 Uploads: 0 | Photoshoot in a 200 year old Copper mine Ok...i spent 9hrs on a photoshoot yesturday in a 200 year old copper mine...jesus that place was so humid it's insane. It was likegoing back in time...it was closed in 1907 and reopen in 1997 to the public...but only 4 levels are open...27 others are completely flooded...5800 feet down, but every year they are trying to open a new level and secure it. it's a job i'm doing with my former employer..witch i've known for 17 years, we do a lot of work togheter in 3D. he had hired his brother in law as the photographer who's taken photography and taken small class on week-ends, but his real job is as a construction worker. Since he's charging like 200$ a day, he's been using him a lot for small table top objects. WHen we got to the mine shaft he had brough ALL his studio gear, 3 studio flash, softbox and ****. he tried to light the caves for 2 hrs..LOL i was there to make suer it would be ok when i was to insert the 3d object needed. After 2 hrs my old boss came to me and ask to help out..  ..so after a few negotiation i accepted... thank god i had my gear. in situation like this F2.8 lens are your BEST FRIEND"..so a few reduced pict of the place. |
