looks awsome mate. what kinda lens did you use?

Sorry Andy, file size is too big to be attached here and the same goes for free photo hosting sites without paying.

Tell you what Andy, if I get the chance I'll create a photo page on my website and upload some of the others from France.

Hey Al, I used a canon ultrasonic 75-300 lens, captured the images (about a dozen of them) whilst this guy was circling above a combine harvester. He was actually spotted by my wife, who slammed on the brakes while I climbed out and clicked away.

There's a bit of debate going on about which bird he is, he might be a member of the kite family, but the shape of the tail is wrong, or (here comes the biggy) he might be a golden eagle, since they are known to frequent that particular pre-alpine area of France.
