Very nice Andrew, I am loving that bird of pray pic. How long did you have to wait to get it?

No time at all, we were driving down the road and there he was circling above a combine harvester, stopped the car, jumped out and snapped away for about a minute. He gave a nice little screech and buggered off towards the mountains.

He was a bit of a hitchiker, we canoed down 40km's of the Ardèche river, when we stopped for lunch this guy was sitting on the back of the canoe, I have no idea how long he was there for but as soon as we stopped and got out he hopped down by the rivers edge and sat there while I took a few shots of him. He didn't seem to be scared of people at all.

Greath picts mate.

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

Very nice mate- see that lens is working out very well indeed. I've just got back from the Lakes with a snazzy new 17-85mm USM IS lens. it's been great having the flexibility of an SLR again!

That eagle picture is superb, and although I'm no expert in the field, I'd say it was a golden eagle. I've seen a few, both up close at falconry centers and also in the wild in Scotland, and it looks very close.

Here comes the water, It comes to wash away the sins of you and I.
This time you see- like holy water, it only burns you faster than you'll ever dry.
