damn right, and I'm just west of Scotswood, which means I was born with a bulletproof vest and super ninja skills.

I'm working on them now, just deciding how many of them are useful- was awkward having to hold the camera right up and shoot blind.

Haha looks like we might have another member to the northern SFM group hehe

Those look good, though the second one looks maybe a little too saturated, and a little contrasty in the darker areas. No idea if that's a post or camera setting thing hehe

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

That'll be post Andrew- the 350D underexposes slighty in RAW shooting, and I'm still getting to grips with Lightroom. I've probably just overdone it slightly, but I still have the originals.

Here's one of the shots from the observation deck of the Baltic. I'll work on some more over the weekend.

Yeah often when you brighten or darken images you have to be very careful about saturation!

That one looks much better, and it's a pretty cool shot!

Maybe we can manage another meeting, if you can ever manage to find spare time, in your intensive schedule

Thanks guys.

Andrew: I know, but Lightroom has a completely different workflow to Photoshop, in that it's more like actually being able to change the camera's settings in post. rather than have "brightness and contrast" or "curves", I have white balance, colour temperature and exposure compensation options, as well as the options to adjust each colour channel itself. It's a very handy tool, and very logical, just... different.

Yep, I've played with it, very powerful and cool, but that still doesn't change the fact it's oversaturated :P
