Been away in the Lakes this week with Kate, was nice, though the photography conditions could have been better- for three of the four days we had terrible low cloud that managed to diffuse the light just enough to completely destroy any sense of natural lighting. Fortunately, we managed to get out and about on the one day that wasn't overcast and grey.
We took a bus down to Bowness-on-Windemere and were walking down by the lake when we saw these fuzzy little critters- they were drawing quite a crowd, but they're already totally comfortable being surrounded with humans- I'm not sure if thats a good thing or not, but I did take the opportunity to grab a couple of snaps.
More to upload from the break as I work through them.
Incidentally, this shot marks the first time I've used Adobe's Lightroom suite for post-processing RAW files- so comments and suggestions regarding anything to do with that are more than welcome.
